Al-Hijra Academy provides each student with an Islamic and Qur’an education. Each student enrolled in Al-Hijra is given Qur’an classes which ensure they learn the Tajweed and meaning of the Holy Qur’an.

Students may also join the Tahfeedth program which devotes the whole day each day for students to memorize Qur’an, learn tafsir, and ahadeeth. As this program provides immersion in the study of the Qur’an, core subjects will not be taught during the day, and parents are responsible to provide those subjects to their children. Each child is provided Qur’an classes, however, if you wish to enroll your child in the Tahfeedth program, please indicate on your registration.

Annually, the selected students of Al-Hijra Academy take part in the Qur’an Competition which allows them to compete with other students on their accomplishments in Qur’an Memorization. The Qur’an Competition is a big part of Al-Hijra Academy’s Islamic environment and provides children an opportunity to showcase their progress in their knowledge of the Holy Qur’an. This year’s Qur’an Competition will take place starting on February 8 through February 17, 2016. Parents, guardians, family, and friends of selected students are invited to attend to watch the competition.
